A Crofton, MD native and Stanford University graduate, Lyndsey Munoz is providing one-on-one goalie and performance training, video analysis & virtual coaching, player clinics, and coaches clinics in the Los Angeles, CA area. A goalie by nature, but knowledge and love for the entire game, Lyndsey can coach it all!

Bethany Bonilla is a junior at Emmanuel College. She had the unique experience of being recruited to play the game while already at college, picking it up in her sophomore year. She started every game last season, only missing one due to an injury. Kelsey completed her senior year at Columbia this year, where she majored in Political Science. In her senior season, she was named as 2018 Honorable Mention All-Ivy League. Kelsey is originally from Kinsale, VA, and attended Fredricksburg Academy where she was a three-sport athlete in basketball, field hockey, and lacrosse. Now, Kelsey is preparing to attend NYU Law School this fall. The UA All-American game this year was 🔥 must watch if you haven’t yet, even if just for the saves 🙌🏻 — but today I wanted to share some thing you might not know. — While you might know I was selected to play in this game, I actually tried out for the UA underclass teams my sophomore and junior year and didn’t make it. Additionally, when I first tried out for club lacrosse going into high school, I made the third team, and it wasn’t until Junior year that I made the “best” team. — Why am I telling you this? Because I hear from goalies that they don’t understand why they aren’t making more saves even though they’ve been working hard. The hard truth is that progress takes TIME. The reason why I got to where I did was because I never gave up, every no only fueled me when I trained to go that much harder and eventually it paid off. It’s all about CONSISTENT hard work, and that’s the honest truth. If you’re still not seeing progress despite working hard, then maybe it’s time to do a work audit on yourself. — Ask yourself: am I really giving 100% into every drill I go into? When I work on my own am I acting like it’s practice or am I just going through the motions? Do I really not have time to get in 15 more minutes of Wall Ball or is there time in my day where I could get off of Netflix or social media and squeeze in extra time? — This works because I constantly do this to myself now and I wish I had done it in high school from my schoolwork to my training. It’s up to you to decide what your priorities are, and then you need people around you to help keep you accountable to them. That’s how I’ve done it, and continue to hold myself to high standards. When you face a setback you have two options, you either let it overcome you or you overcome it. If you’re willing to put in work for the long haul, I promise you will be successful too.
